1. Cleco Pliers + Clecos
Why you need them:
If you’ve got a racecar, you’ve probably had to replace body panels at some point. Cleco pliers are essential for temporarily securing sheet metal during quick pit repairs or between heats.
What happens when you forget them:
You’ll be borrowing from the pit next door or wasting time trying to hold panels in place by hand. Worse yet, you might rush a repair and end up with a loose panel flying off in Turn 3.

2. Magnetic Parts Tray
Why you need it:
You know the sound — a bolt clinking into the grass under your trailer. A magnetic tray keeps your nuts, bolts, and washers in one place so you’re not on your hands and knees before a heat.
What happens when you forget it:
You spend more time chasing hardware than wrenching. One lost bolt can cost you a race or a wheel.
3. Hand Cleaner (and Towels!)
Why you need it:
Racing is dirty work. Whether you're adjusting chains, changing oil, or fixing a bent spindle, your hands will be covered in grime. Soap and water at the track? Good luck.
What happens when you forget it:
You wipe your hands on your race suit, your seat, or your face (yep, we’ve all done it). And good luck putting on gloves or adjusting anything with slick, greasy fingers.
